Today I have a new friend on Flickr, I know just anything about him unless he lives in Euskadi, his photos are good you will see them, but the reason I include here so fast are his words, as simple as heartfelt and so true.

Photography as social vehicle is a very powerful tool, and social network based on the photograph is a very special way to propose natural beauty, urban, telling little stories illustrated with beautiful images also to propose nice excursions. Photography is the real life and also condemn. Some days ago a friend talked about women and their situation, I also speak today on this issue this is my will my thinking.

Days ago I saw a picture that was very wisely and tactfully about a reality about a matter that always makes my hair stand, the situation where a lot of times the woman is immersed by the simple fact of being. Yes, I am referring to the violence. Sell, buy, killed, maimed, attacked her physically and psychologically and all only for being women. That’s gender terrorism, compounded by the weakness that these facts are treated by social justice, politics, but also by the poor or very prompt attention all citizens give to this serious situation. It looks like it happens far from us or only because ignorance. No, it’s not happening far, nor because it’s only ignorance. I think that is because we are installed on a nineteenth sexism, in whole society and in our own minds, both men and women. The cynicism of society, who always looks for all the mental and legal loopholes to justify or soften the consequences of this gender terrorism. Society seems to understand how this is so normal. I do not seek an eye for an eye, no. I only wish that institutions act in accordance with the facts being more respectful about the victims. The perpetrators are the ones who should be out of his habitual residence guarded by the police, with electronic bracelets, everything in order to do not break the law, in order the victims can live in freedom with social recognition because they are the victim

.… if your grandmother is a woman …. your mother is a woman …. your friend, your sister is a woman … a woman … your wife or girlfriend is a woman …. your daughter is a woman ….. What do we have against women? ….. dignify our womanhood … dignify our humanity …. and thus we will dignify the human condition.
