On Tuesday I opened my season and I did with the second cast of L’Arbore Diana.
For Diana’s role I would prefer Ekaterina Lekhina, but I must resign listening to Laura Aikin, we cannot have all we desire.
Because having attended the first cast I would lose the opportunity to listen to Simon Orfila again that “boy” from Menorca that I like so much.

Orfila performs well and sings better. During the performance, at some point, he reminded me of that unforgettable Otto from “A Fish Called Wanda” and stating that I say this positively.
But above all he sings well, very well, with a beautiful voice that he fits on the character perfectly.
With respect to staging, I must confess that when a few days before the premiere I had a chance to see it, I thought:
Well, finally I will know what happens inside the pressure cooker when I close the lid?.
Okay, so if in my pot’s happens the same, now I understand what the stock is so good.
Incidentally, the photo above is an experiment, my first experiment with textures. Surely, it doesn’t will be the last because, as my friendMaika says: Be careful my dear that hitch.
