For a long time, my life was closely associated with the mountain of Montjuic. I grew up in the its slopes in the neighborhood of “Poble Sec”.
At that time the area currently occupied by the Olympic venues, was a small city of shanties surrounded by garbage dumps and the ghost of the old stadium, which at that time could not imagine that the future glory was reserved.
In the old swimming club facilities Montjuic I learned to swim. Years later that ancient pool was replaced with, in my opinion, the most spectacular installation of Olympics with the city backdrop, resulting in images of startling beauty.

At the top there is the Castle. Throughout my life, I’ve visited it a lot of times, but until last Sunday not long ago that rose.
But last Sunday I got up in the spirit of a tourist, so I took the machine and we, my husband and me, went there.
Not many people, almost all were tourists.
The entrances were affected by endless works, which apparently have long been under way since the honeysuckle had taken over the fences.
There, at the top of the castle, while the camera focused at infinity, I could not stop thinking about how lucky is my city having so beautiful and greatest viewpoint.
It is unfortunate that most of the tourists who visit us are limited to a quick tour, only 6 hours: Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo (only one photo from the outside) Parque Guell, Sagrada Familia, Corte English and back to the hotel.
Please, if you visit Barcelona do not fail to climb to the castle.
