Butter cookies

This year springtime wears raincoat. Here, in Barcelona, it is raining just every day, looking for beautiful landscapes didn’t feel like so last days my photo models had been flowers (I run to the garden I cut them and take photos in my kitchen/photo-studio). I have also photographed keys, screws and other things DYS as these butter cookies.

To cook them you need:

Sugar 150 gr
Butter 150 gr
Margarine 150 gr
Flour 1/2 kg
One egg and music because Music makes things better, today Diana Krall flyign to the moon while I bake cookies.

Since the intruder is in my kitchen I experimented many dishes with it but this one was probably the worst. Thermomix mix very well but the problem was taking out the dough from the bow. Tremendous experience. As a result I cooked double ration off cookies that I can recover in the end from Thermomix and that one I mixed on the old way, with my hand only five minutes.

Mix warm butter, margarine and sugar. Later add the egg and in the flour. Put in the fridge for one hour more or less in the end it must look like that. Even my husband could do that.

Spread the pastry 1/2 cm thickness

Paint with egg sprinkle sugar

10 minutes in the oven 200 degrees.

And that’s all, enjoy your meal and your photos.

    Scrumptious! I can almost smell them baking. I like the two disparate shapes in this one for ‘contrast’. The texture on this shot is lovely, and I like the lighting here to reveal the details of the sugar crystals and the egg glaze at the base of the star. Splendid! I hope this is a tradition at your home. Thanks for sharing.
