Soave sia il vento

October 31, 2008 in Opera

Last Wednesday was due to be done visiting the Liceu’s Backstage. Usually there is very hot and on top of that I do a great exercise opening a lot of security doors (some day I’ll count them) the round visit is long and difficult.

I don’t know where I’m

Every day during the visit I listen this expression at least two or three times

Perhaps out the theatre the temperatures get down and the difference between in and out was a bit more than evident, the fact is that last Wednesday it was more hot than as usual.

But in some areas like the audiovisuals department and the workshop it was cold. Almost for whom wasn’t near an iron because when we arrive in this department usually workers are ironing the wardrobe clothes.

The upshot of it all was that last Wednesday evening I felt that something was wrong and after turn the whole house upside down looking for a Frenadol (popular good cure for cold) I found one into a bag that I didn’t use since last winter.

I never will understand that reason why my family’s men are unable to take a pencil and writing FRENADOL. If they can write “shave cream” why they cannot write FRENADOL, if it is shorter enough.

But, if you never have a cold… one off my sons said, when I phone him asking for the Frenadol.

Then my son was wrong I can have a cold as well. And before to subject myself to my special anti cold shock treatment that means, hot milk, comfortable sofa, TV and the most important

“don’t disturb” I’ve said DON’T DISTURB I wish left you a musical piece. Bearing in mind how the wind blows outside in this moment its would be appropriate

Soave sia il vento, in my opinion one the most beautiful “dueto” even wrote, included in the Mozart’s opera “cosí fan tutte the third one and the last one composed with the librettist Lorenzo Ponte. The singers are Pilar Lorengar, Teresa Berganza and Gabriel Bacquier

I hope you enjoy it

See you
